CALIFORNIA SUNDAY/POP-UP MAGAZINE PARTNERSHIP FOR POP-IN @ NORDSTROM X WARBY PARKER SHOP

Built relationship with The California Sunday Magazine/Pop-Up Magazine team and collaborated on a campaign that would help tell the story of “A Literary Life Well Lived” for the Pop-In@Nordstrom X Warby Parker shop. We came up with the idea to commission New York Times/New Yorker artist Ping Zhu to create a custom piece of art around the theme in her famous style. We ran print ads (420k+ distribution) in 8/2 (painting sketch preview teasing the shop) and 9/6 (final painting) issues of The California Sunday Magazine.

We also printed 100 Archival silkscreen prints signed and numbered for in-store giveaways (10/store) promoted on all parties’ social media to drive people in-store. Expansive Social and Digital reach including Nordstrom, Warby Parker, California Sunday, and Pingzhu social media channels.

This also included a live feature in 7/23 Pop-Up Magazine Sidebar event in SF (sold out in 10 seconds) which included over 100 top editors in the country.
